내전극화(prepolarized) 마이크로폰은 프리앰프(preamp)와 함께 IEPE(ICP)전원을 사용하므로 IEPE(ICP) 가속도센서(accelerometer), 임팩트해머(impact hammer) 등의 센서와 같은 시스템을 공유할 수 있습니다.

 

각각의 차이는 감도(sensitivity)와 측정 범위(measurement range), 측정 주파수범위(frequency range), 가격(Price)으로 나누어 볼 수 있습니다.

먼저 각 모델의 설명을 보면 아래와 같습니다.

 

· MP20：The frequency range up to 40kHz. Its lower sensitivity make it measure sound levels up to 146 dB.

 

· MP21：High sensitivity microphone with the frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz. Requires no external polarization voltage. General-purpose for type 1 sound level meters and other noise measurement set-ups.

 

· MP22：General-purpose for type 2 sound level meters. The protection grid is removable and the cost is lower than any other measurement microphone.

 

 

 

범용적으로 가장 많이 사용하는 감도(50mV/Pa)의 모델인 MP21을 기준으로 보면, MP20의 경우 상대적으로 감도는 낮지만 높은 측정/주파수 범위가 장점이 될 것이며 MP22는 저스펙이지만 저렴한 가격(!)이 장점입니다.
